Help & support
Make yourself
at home.
Help with the builder, your Homey connection, and the 3D widget.
What do I need?
A Homey Pro with widget support and the Digital Twin Homey app. Use a desktop browser for the builder. The current Homey test listing contains compatibility and installation details.
How do I get my house into the widget?
Open the Digital Twin builder, sign in, create or open your home, and link the relevant Homey rooms and devices. Publish your chosen view, connect the house, and add the Digital Twin widget to your Homey dashboard.
Does the widget control my devices?
The current widget displays device states without sending device control commands. The installed app still requests Homey’s broad API permission; see the privacy policy for details.
Why is the house missing or out of date?
Confirm that the correct house is connected and that your latest changes have been published. Check the Homey app connection and your network. A cached view can be shown during a backend interruption and may not contain the latest published changes.
What happens if the backend is offline?
A previously connected widget can use a cached house while its cached licence remains valid. Device-state availability depends on the Homey connection. The builder and newly published changes require the backend.
How do I manage a licence or payment?
Check your account in the builder for the current access status and any billing controls. For an incorrect charge or licence problem, email Paul from your account email. Do not send card details or connection keys.
Can I delete my account or home data?
Email [email protected] from your account address and describe what you want removed. Identity verification may be needed. Removing a widget alone does not delete backend projects.
How can I report a problem?
Include your Homey model, Homey software and Digital Twin app versions, browser version, and steps to reproduce the problem. Share screenshots only after removing private home details or device identifiers you do not want to disclose.
